1972 – THE FOUNDATION
The history of ALL STARS dates back to 1972. At that time, the Brummer Sporternährung company was founded in Munich. A shop selling sports nutrition and home training equipment was opened. In the same year, the magazine Sportrevue was purchased and converted to the new Brummer company, with all nutritional products featured in the advertising section. Arnold Schwarzenegger was used as an advertising face for the first products. The high-quality Brummer products were sold to fitness athletes and bodybuilders throughout Germany, as well as in Austria and Switzerland. Within just a few years, Brummer rose to become one of the top brands in the European sports nutrition industry.
1993 - BRUMMER BECOMES ALL STARS
In 1993, the Brummer company was renamed ALL STARS Fitness Products GmbH, with Arnold Schwarzenegger as its shareholder and advertising figure. Three years later, in 1996, ALL STARS Fitness Products GmbH was sold to the Günther Group, consisting of approximately 10 companies with 2,000 employees and an annual turnover of approximately €200 million. The ALL STARS headquarters were relocated to Elero GmbH, a Günther Group company, in Beuren near Stuttgart.
FROM 2001 TO TODAY
In 2001, the Günther Group sold ALL STARS Fitness Products to the two new owners. As a result, the company headquarters was relocated to Peissenberg, south of Munich. From there, ALL STARS Fitness Products GmbH continues to distribute innovative, high-quality sports nutrition products in Germany and in 63 countries worldwide.
