What does “Ride Oriented Xercise” (ROX® technology) mean?
Ride-Oriented Exercise is an innovative training concept from HOIST Fitness, powered by patented ROX® technology. Unlike conventional strength training equipment, where the user remains firmly in a static seat during the exercise, with ROC-IT equipment, the user moves along with the machine—just as if "riding along."
The principle:
Instead of a rigid, guided movement, training on ROC-IT devices is dynamic and body-synchronized:
- During the exercise, the seat or back module tilts or swivels with the natural movement of the body.
- This creates a fluid, swing-like movement in which the upper body maintains its biomechanically optimal position.
- The body's center of gravity actively changes with the course of movement, which puts more effective strain on the muscles - especially the deep muscles and stabilizing muscle chains.
