Safe boxing training starts with a sturdy, reliable mounting of the punching bag. Don’t have the space to attach the punching bag to the ceiling, or is the ceiling unsuitable for this? Then a wall mount is the solution! Attach the mount to the wall using the bolts, screws and wall plugs provided, and you’re ready to go! The punching bag’s suspension point is 75 cm from the wall. So there’s plenty of room for the punching bag to move with the punches and kicks you throw.
At what height should the wall bracket be mounted? Consider the height of the tallest person who will be using the punching bag and add ten centimetres to that. The top of the bag should therefore extend ten centimetres above their head. Add thirty centimetres (the length of the chain) to this and fix the bracket to the wall at the resulting height.
The wall mount is best installed on stone or concrete. Do not hang the mount outdoors, as the weather can affect the quality of the material and the installation over time.
