Magnesium is a mineral that is required by the body for numerous processes. These include, for example, normal energy metabolism, normal muscle function and normal protein synthesis. Magnesium must be taken in through food and/or food supplements, as the body cannot synthesise this substance itself. Magnesium is often used as an additional supplement, especially by athletes, to optimally support muscle function during training.

The capsules are gelatine-free and, as HPMC capsules, can also be used by vegans. They contain magnesium as bisglycinate and citrate. Each capsule contains 125mg of magnesium, so the daily dose of three capsules contains 375mg. An ideal supplement for athletes of all sports in intensive training phases with an increased requirement to prevent rapid signs of muscle fatigue.
