ULTRA COMPETITION by SPONSER is a highly complex nutrient solution, specially developed for the requirements of ultra and long distance. Waxy corn starch as well as gluten-free starch hydrolisates from barley and rice provide long-lasting energy supply and a low glycemic index.

Waxy maize starch is a branched-chain glucose molecule with a very large molecular size. Unlike single or double sugars, up to 1000 or more molecules of
waxy maize starch are present in a branched form. Although the long-chain and relatively complex structure is rapidly emptied from the stomach, it is only hesitantly broken down to glucose by enzymes. The insulin rise in a beverage consisting mainly of waxy maize starch is therefore significantly lower than in commercially available carbomixes.

Without gluten, lactose, isomaltulose as well as free fructose. Nutrients that are often poorly tolerated during ultra-loads under stress conditions and therefore have a performance-limiting effect.

Application:
Particularly suitable for endurance efforts from 8-12 h duration. As a sports drink recommended for use with a dosage of 60-100 g/liter.
When used as a watery gel, dissolve up to 60 g per 300 ml of water depending on energy requirements and drink in sips every 10-15 min. If thirsty, drink additional water. Ultra Competition can be flavored as desired with the addition of syrup, fruit extracts, tea, etc.
