Function:
The Power Ball is an effective training aid for strengthening and exercising the strength (muscles) of the fingers, wrists, arms and shoulders.
Drive:
Driven by movement of the wrist. Once the wheel inside the ball is in motion, use your wrist as an axis and turn it clockwise or anti-clockwise. The faster the ball is moved, the greater the momentum and the rotation generated. The speed can reach up to 14,000 revolutions per minute. By varying the speed of the ball, a centrifugal force of up to 16 kg can be generated.
Use as sports equipment:
The Power Ball is a specialised training aid for sports such as tennis, bowling, golf, basketball, table tennis, handball, badminton, rowing, climbing and many others. In these sports, the Power Ball can significantly improve athletic performance. The Power Ball improves muscle condition, grip strength and coordination skills. It can help prevent tendonitis caused by specific activities (such as playing the piano or working at a computer). The Power Ball can also relieve sore muscles, tendons and shoulder tension.
Use as a leisure and fun item:
Exciting variations and competitions make it even more fun. With the built-in speed display, you can compare your performance with others. Can be connected to a computer! The special light effect ensures you’ll attract attention.
Benefits:
The Power Ball is a small exercise device that delivers rapid results. Anyone can use the Power Ball (from teenagers to older people). You’re completely free to use it whenever and wherever you like. With the Power Ball, you can train whilst chatting to friends, watching TV, going for a walk, travelling by bus, standing, sitting, etc. Training with the Power Ball is fun. You decide which spinning movement to perform: anti-clockwise, clockwise, one-handed, two-handed, freestyle, etc.
Special features:
The rotation is computer-calculated and therefore absolutely precise. The ball has excellent rotational stability. A rubber coating on the surface prevents it from rolling away easily and makes it sit better in the hand. The Power Ball is made from particularly durable plastic. The axle is made of steel and therefore cannot break. Every Power Ball is electronically balanced.
Theory:
Spinning top, application of centrifugal and inertial forces
