Theraband Stability Trainer
Theraband stability trainers are used especially for older people and in knee, back and ankle rehabilitation to improve movement patterns and balance. Two foam cushions of different hardness and one air-filled cushion allow training in increasing levels of difficulty. Starting on the flat floor on one stability trainer at a time to using two cushions on top of each other. The harder green stability trainer allows for beginner training, while the softer blue and black stability trainers allow for more advanced training. The black stability trainer also offers an additional sensorimotor stimulus with its nubbed surface.
Maintain posture
TheraBand stability trainers are used to improve joint and trunk stability (posture) to improve movement patterns and thus reduce the risk of falls and injuries. The stability trainers are suitable for stabilization, balance and proprioception training in prevention, rehabilitation and sports. By placing greater demands on the postural muscles, the TheraBand Stability Trainers can give new impetus to conventional exercises.
TheraBand stability trainers feature a non-slip surface and are ideal for balance training and lower extremity rehabilitation. The extra-soft black stability trainer is also filled with air, providing extra high lability for challenging balance exercises. It also features an additional nubbed surface texture for targeted proprioception training.
Available hardness levels:
- Firm (green) = light: seniors, people with motor weaknesses, fall prevention/rehabilitation.
- Soft (blue) = heavy: normally trained people, returners, rehabilitation, general or sport-specific balance training
- Unstable (black) = extra hard: coordinatively trained people, coordination training, sensomotoric training (nubby side)
Please note: The higher the degree of hardness, the lower the difficulty level!
