Functional Training

Functional training refers to a training concept in which movements and exercises are performed that mimic everyday or sport-specific movement patterns. The goal is to improve functional strength, stability, coordination, mobility, and everyday skills. The training focuses on training the body as a whole rather than working individual muscles in isolation. Exercises in functional training include complex movements such as squats, deadlifts, lunges, kettlebell swings, cable pulls, rotations, and balance exercises. It can be used by people of all fitness levels, athletes, and everyday individuals alike to improve their physical performance and quality of movement
