1972 – THE FOUNDING

The history of ALL STARS dates back to 1972, when Brummer Sporternährung was founded in Munich. A shop selling sports nutrition products and home exercise equipment was opened. That same year, the magazine Sportrevue was also purchased and rebranded as Brummer, with all of the company’s nutrition products featured in its advertising section. Arnold Schwarzenegger was enlisted to promote the first products. Brummer’s high-quality products were sold to fitness enthusiasts and bodybuilders throughout Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Within just a few years, Brummer had become one of the leading brands in the European sports nutrition industry.

1993 – BRUMMER BECOMES ALL STARS

In 1993, Brummer was renamed ALL STARS Fitness Products GmbH, with Arnold Schwarzenegger as a shareholder and brand ambassador. Three years later, in 1996, ALL STARS Fitness Products GmbH was sold to the Günther Group, which comprised around 10 companies with 2,000 employees and annual revenue of approximately 200 million euros. ALL STARS moved its headquarters to Beuren near Stuttgart, to Elero GmbH, a Günther Group company.

FROM 2001 TO THE PRESENT

In 2001, the Günther Group sold ALL STARS Fitness Products to its two new owners. As part of this, the company’s headquarters were relocated to Peissenberg, south of Munich. From there, ALL STARS Fitness Products GmbH continues to distribute innovative, high-quality sports nutrition products in Germany and 63 countries worldwide.
