Matrix – The success story of a premium fitness brand

Matrix was founded in 2001 as a premium brand of Johnson Health Tech – a global leader in the manufacturing of high-quality fitness equipment. Within a very short time, Matrix developed into one of the fastest-growing brands in the professional fitness industry. Originally conceived for gyms, hotels, and therapy centers, Matrix focused from the very beginning on the highest quality, innovative technologies, and a sophisticated, ergonomic design.

With the increasing demand for high-performance equipment for home training, Matrix brought its professional studio quality into the home – thereby laying the foundation for the Matrix Home Fitness line. This product series combines uncompromising stability, intelligent training features, and modern entertainment with the convenience of working out at home.

Today, Matrix Home Fitness stands for a new dimension of home training: intuitive, durable, high-quality – and thanks to integrated consoles with apps like Netflix, Spotify, and YouTube, also entertaining. The product range includes ellipticals, treadmills, exercise bikes, indoor cycles, and strength stations – developed for people who do not want to compromise on their home workouts.

Matrix – Fitness Equipment for Your Home Gym

Everything you need for your ideal home workout. With a high-quality selection of elliptical trainers, treadmills, exercise bikes, indoor cycles, and multi-gyms, Matrix Home Fitness offers professional training solutions for every fitness level – right in your own home. The range is complemented by well-thought-out accessories such as exercise mats, chest straps, or holders for tablets and water bottles.

Studio quality, smart technologies, and first-class ergonomics ensure effective, safe, and motivating workouts – day after day.

Unsurpassed quality – at a professional level

Matrix Home Fitness stands for studio quality in home use: Every machine combines high-quality materials, a robust construction, and international precision – optimal prerequisites for long-lasting training equipment. The products are created in-house at Johnson Health Tech, in their own production facilities, using automated processes and strict quality controls – from the first draft to the finished machine.

Professional fitness studios value Matrix especially for its enormous longevity and stability. Numerous manufacturers in the commercial sector rely on Matrix because the machines withstand even intensive, continuous use.

According to test reports, the Ascent Trainer A50, for example, impresses with its solid construction, high level of safety, and well-thought-out features – a consistently robust studio classic for the home gym.

In addition, the platform Knoji rates the build quality of Matrix as above average and recommends it as long-lasting and reliable compared to other brands

Sprint 8 – Maximum training effect in just 20 minutes

With Sprint 8, Matrix offers a scientifically based HIIT interval program that promises maximum effectiveness in minimal time. In just 20 minutes, you are pushed through eight powerful 30-second sprints—interrupted by 90 seconds of active recovery—plus a short warm-up and cool-down. Perfectly timed and effective. Studies prove that Sprint 8 can reduce body fat by up to 27% while simultaneously promoting muscle growth—all with just three sessions per week.

Whether on a treadmill, elliptical, Ascent Trainer, or exercise bike, the Sprint 8 programming is available directly on Matrix equipment and adapts to your fitness level: from beginner to elite. This allows you to achieve more in less time—efficiently, motivatingly, and effectively.

Virtual travel with Passport & Virtual Active

With Passport Media Player and Virtual Active, you can turn your home workout into an immersive experience – without the need for a plane ticket. Virtual Active projects high-resolution video footage of real landscapes (e.g., Rocky Mountains, Italian Alps) that synchronizes with your pace. Incline or resistance adjust automatically, providing a realistic sense of terrain. Audio effects like birdsong or ambient sounds ensure complete immersion. The Passport Media Player is sold separately, comes with pre-installed routes (depending on storage capacity), and offers the option to add extra content – perfect for anyone wanting to experience real adventure while training.

App compatibility: Smart workout tracking with ViewFit

With the ViewFit app, you have full control over your training at all times – conveniently on your smartphone or tablet. The app is compatible with cardio equipment from Matrix (as well as Vision and Horizon) and seamlessly synchronizes your workouts with your fitness profile. Thanks to the integration with HealthKit, ViewFit reliably transfers your workout data directly to popular health apps on iOS devices. This allows you to keep track of your progress, set goals, and compete with others – all from the palm of your hand. Alternatively, you can also get a complete overview on the website viewfit.com
