Trak Fitness: Innovative Cable Attachments for Functional Training

Trak Fitness designs and manufactures functionally advanced rotating grips for exercise equipment and rotating cable attachments for cable exercise machines and indoor rowers. Trak Fitness cable attachments represent the standard of quality in the fitness equipment industry.

Trak Fitness cable attachments and indoor rowing grips are the only grips and attachments available that feature patented multi-axis rotation. Trak Fitness grips and cable attachments enable natural, unrestricted rotational movement across multiple planes of motion. Gains are maximized by training muscles through their full range of motion (ROM) with rotational movements. Full range of motion exercises are critical to achieving the greatest gains in muscle and functional development, and rotational movements are the only way to achieve the full range of the upper body musculature.

Range of Motion and Rotational Movement: The greatest improvements in muscle and functional development are achieved when muscles are worked through their full range of motion. And most upper body muscle groups allow for rotational movements. Therefore, the greatest gains in muscle and functional development can only be achieved with exercises that incorporate the body's natural rotational movements.

Biceps brachii: The biceps are commonly referred to as elbow flexors. But they are also the primary supinators (external rotation) of the forearm. To fully work the biceps, the exercise must begin with the forearm pronated and involve external rotation (supination) of the forearm while flexing the elbow.
Pectoralis major: The pectoral muscles horizontally adduct the arm. But they are also internal rotators of the arm. To work the pectoral muscles through their full range of motion, the exercise must begin with the arm externally rotated and rotate inward during the movement. Depending on the starting position, the pectoral muscles also flex and extend the arm, and exercises should be performed to work the pectoral muscles from all angles. Rotational movement is crucial to achieving full range of motion from any position.
Latissimus dorsi: The latissimus muscles extend the flexed arm, but are also internal rotators of the arm. So, extending and internally rotating the arm during the exercise achieves the full range of motion of the latissimus.
Deltoids: The deltoids abduct (or raise) the arm, but also assist in external and internal rotation. The full range of motion of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) deltoids can be achieved by incorporating rotation into the movement.

Trak Fitness products are grips and cable attachments that enable the natural rotational movements of the human body.
