TheraBand stability trainers are used—particularly with older adults and in knee, back, and ankle rehabilitation—to improve movement patterns and balance. Two foam pads of varying firmness and one air-filled pad allow for training at progressively increasing levels of difficulty, ranging from using a single stability trainer on a flat surface to stacking two pads on top of one another. The firmer green stability trainer is suitable for beginners, while the softer blue and black trainers allow for advanced training; additionally, the black stability trainer features a textured surface that provides extra sensorimotor stimulation..

Maintain posture

TheraBand stability trainers are used to improve joint and core stability (posture) to improve movement patterns and therefore reduce the risk of falls and injuries. The stability trainers are suitable for stabilization, balance and proprioception training in prevention, rehabilitation and sport. By placing greater demands on the postural muscles, the TheraBand stability trainers can give conventional exercises new impetus.

The TheraBand stability trainers have an anti-slip surface and are ideal for balance training and rehabilitation of the lower extremities. The extra-soft black stability trainer is also filled with air and therefore offers particularly high stability for demanding balance exercises. It also offers an additional nubby surface structure for targeted proprioception training.

Available hardness levels:

  • Solid (green) = light: seniors, people with motor weaknesses, fall prevention/rehabilitation
  • Soft (blue) = heavy: normally trained people, returnees, rehabilitation, general or sport-specific balance training
  • Unstable (black) = extra heavy: people with coordination training, coordination training, sensorimotor training (dimpled side)

Please note: The higher the level of hardness, the lower the difficulty level!
