Founded in 1952, AIREX developed the first foam mat and is now the world market leader.

AIREX® is the world market leader in training and therapy mats. In the early 1960s, AIREX® was the first brand to manufacture foam mats, and in the mid-1980s it introduced groundbreaking processes in extrusion. Through its distribution partners, AIREX® products are available in over 50 countries and are exported with proven Swiss quality to a further 120 countries around the world. AIREX®’s commitment to tradition is aptly embodied by its over 60 years of expertise in foam technology and the long service life of AIREX® products.

Values that AIREX lives by

Swiss

“Swiss made” is not just a mark of origin; it also embodies AIREX’s core value—a code of conduct that has been upheld since production first began in 1952. The first mats were made then and have since been used, among others, by the Swiss Army. The AIREX signature “Swiss born in 1952” stands for the highest quality, durability, and reliability—without compromise or exception.

Light & Fresh

Swiss-made AIREX® products consist of up to 96% air—a unique selling point that makes them one of a kind worldwide. Air is not only a key component of the mats, but also a symbol of AIREX’s brand philosophy. AIREX stands for moments of pause—for taking a conscious breath and letting go of stress, worries and the noise of everyday life to reconnect with your own space.

Strong & Enduring

AIREX is a pioneer in developing high-quality training and therapy mats, with over 60 years of experience, an innovative spirit, and an unwavering commitment to quality. Its products are strong, supportive, and built to last. AIREX knows that creating something that stands the test of time takes dedication and precision. That’s why AIREX stands behind everything it does, with the aim of creating a personal space of strength just for you. A space that belongs only to you.

Challenging

It takes strength, courage and dedication to reach the edelweiss—a flower that grows only on steep, hard-to-reach rock faces and mountain peaks. This determination is reflected in our everyday lives, too. Dedication, motivation, setting your own rules and preparing mentally—these are the challenges we face time and again. Just like every time you roll out your AIREX® mat or step onto the AIREX® Balance Pad.
