The AIREX® Balance-pad XLarge is twice the size of the Balance-pad Elite, offering a whole new perspective on balance training. The introduction of the Balance-pad XLarge has brought with it a new range of exercises and their variations, making training an even more challenging task. On the one hand, it features a unique waffle-like, non-slip texture on both its top and bottom surfaces; on the other hand, it provides pleasant stimulation of the receptors in the soles of the feet during barefoot balance training. Thanks to its 6 cm thickness, the Balance-pad XLarge offers the desired destabilising properties. The AIREX® Balance-pad XLarge is specially designed for use in the office.

The Balance-pad XLarge is particularly well suited for exercises in the side-lying position or on all fours. By supporting yourself on both hands and knees simultaneously, not only do the shoulder and hip joints benefit, but the entire spine as well. Its size, similar to that of a step, also allows for a wide variety of endurance training exercises.
To increase comfort and safety, we recommend using an AIREX mat as a base. Thanks to the clever honeycomb texture of the surfaces, you also benefit from effective stimulation of the foot receptors when training barefoot with the Balance Pad XLarge. Blood circulation in the feet is actively promoted.

AIREX® products are designed as movement therapy aids for both institutional and home use. This floor-based device serves as a support for a person during medically indicated and prescribed exercises to improve motor skills and balance, or postural control, and/or for movement therapy to treat muscle weakness in the limbs and trunk resulting from a neurological or orthopaedic condition.
Note: Please check the surface for slip resistance before using Airex Balance products. We recommend using an Airex mat as a base to increase comfort and safety.
