Job offer: Service technician (full-time) (m/f/d)

Your new playing field:

  • Assembly, installation and commissioning of fitness equipment

  • Repair, maintenance and servicing of fitness equipment

  • Warehouse management: storage and retrieval, provision of goods for forwarding agents and assembly operations (warehouse at Planzer Logistik in 8953 Dietikon)

  • Product knowledge: sound knowledge of the available products and their possible uses and functions in order to be able to answer customer questions competently.

  • Customer advice: professional customer support

  • Customer support: processing and following up service requests, handling complaints

What you should bring with you:

  • Basic mechanical training

  • Expertise and experience in service technology and assembly

  • Flexibility in the field

  • Car driving licence (3.5 tonnes)

  • Customer focus: strong customer focus and ability to understand and fulfil customer needs.

  • Product knowledge: Good understanding of fitness equipment and accessories, or willingness to acquire this knowledge.

  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to provide professional service to customers.

  • Sense of responsibility

  • Customer counselling: professional advice to customers on the selection of fitness equipment, sports nutrition and training accessories

  • Sales: actively selling fitness equipment, sports nutrition, training accessories and services

  • Customer service: following up on customer enquiries, handling complaints and ensuring that customers are satisfied with their purchases.

  • Product knowledge: having a sound knowledge of the products available and their uses to be able to answer customer queries competently.

  • Stock management: monitoring stock levels, replenishing shelves and reporting reorder requirements.

  • Cash register activities: processing payment transactions and keeping correct accounts.

  • Designing and maintaining the shop floor to present products attractively and promote sales.

  • Receiving and issuing goods: receiving deliveries, checking products for damage and preparing them for sale.

  • Sales promotion: active participation in marketing campaigns and sales promotion measures

  • Dispatch work

What you should bring with you:

  • Training in sales

  • Expertise and experience in sales - ideally in retail or in a fitness equipment shop

  • Customer orientation: strong customer focus and ability to understand and fulfil customer needs.

  • Product knowledge: Good understanding of fitness equipment and accessories, or willingness to acquire this knowledge.

  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to advise and persuade customers in a professional manner.

  • Sense of responsibility

  • Age between 25 and 45 years

  • Resilience and good physical condition
