Manufactured the Indoor Cycle from the wood types oak, ash cherry & walnut and all metal parts are made of powder-coated steel.

WaterRower GmbH has been based in Germany since 1994, and in 2005 the NOHrD manufactory was established at the headquarters in Nordhorn, Lower Saxony. Here, high-quality fitness equipment made of wood is developed and produced. All wooden sports equipment is handmade in the company's own factory. The combination of classic handwork and precise machine technology ensures constant quality and development. A responsible dealing with our environment is part of everyday life at NOHrD and is deeply rooted in the company philosophy. There is no waste, as wood and bark are fully recycled during production.
Each piece of training equipment is unique
The solid wood used is obtained without exception from renewable stocks in North America and Germany. Only young and smooth solid core wood is processed. The high-quality wooden elements are protectively oiled to prevent dirt and stains. Since wood is a natural resource, it can vary in color and consistency. For example, solid wood darkens over time. This is especially true of cherry wood. That is why each NOHrD training device is unique.
