The SmartRow upgrade for the WaterRower delivers 100% comparable rowing data—completely independent of the standard monitor—directly to your smartphone. The SmartRow pulley replaces the WaterRower's initial drive pulley and transmits rowing data via Bluetooth to the SmartRow app. Internal electronics measure absolute force and stroke length to calculate your power output. By utilizing the force curve, you can monitor every stroke and receive optimal feedback. Optimize your stroke length, peak force, or total energy output for every stroke! SmartRow stores all your workouts, personal bests, and fitness metrics, helping you keep track of your training progress..

Product description

With SmartRow, your training data can now be recorded even more precisely - and saved directly on your smartphone!

The special advantage of SmartRow is that the technology used makes all training sessions comparable on every WaterRower - completely independent of the respective water level and 100% accurate.

In addition, values such as time, distance, number of strokes and calories are listed and saved for each individual workout - so further improvements and hidden potential can be analyzed afterwards. The heart rate can also be read and displayed.

The most important elements are the force used, the distance traveled and the time required - a value is determined from these three components, which is given in watts. Thanks to the built-in strain gauges, the most precise results can be measured and output for the first time - this makes training sessions on the WaterRower completely comparable.

SmartRow is installed in the WaterRower instead of the normal pull roller - the force used during rowing is transferred into a measurable unit via strain gauges (DMS for short). The rowing data is transmitted to the SmartRow app via Bluetooth.

Compare performance data with other WaterRower owners from the comfort of your own home, challenge your teammate to a 2-kilometer race in the boathouse, or simply find your daily motivation by racing against the pace boat to break your personal bests.
