Bovine COLOSTRUM, also known as first milk or colostrum, is produced from the colostrum of cows. This is produced by suckler cows within the first hours and days after calving. Compared to normal milk, it has a different and more nutrient-concentrated composition. As today's dairy cows produce far more milk than their calves need, it is possible to use the surplus colostrum from the first 24 to 48 hours after calving as a nutritional supplement. Colostrum is widely used in ambitious sports, by top athletes and bodybuilders, for example in connection with regeneration, strength building or immune defense (for more information see "Background & Information").

Colostrum is very rich in growth- and immune-stimulating nutrients such as immunoglobulins, natural growth factors and immune regulators. These substances are important for good growth, preventing infections and developing a strong immune system (e.g. allergy protection). Athletes can also take advantage of this. For athletes and bodybuilders, protein co-factors are particularly important for muscle building and an improved immune system also brings great benefits, as intensive sport results in a temporary weakening of the body's defenses.

The quality of colostrum as a dietary supplement is usually indicated by its immunoglobulin G (IgG) content. Our colostrum meets the highest quality standards and has a high IgG content of 30% in the powder. Only the first and second milking within the first 12 hours are used for production. Gentle, slow heating during production ensures that the valuable ingredients are retained.
